Description
These beautiful, bright flowers are the California State flower. They grow in the wild throughout the State and were once thought to be the (fields of gold) that symbolized the California gold rush. April 6th of each year is the official (California Poppy Day). These flowers bloom early in the cool weather but fade quickly in the summer heat.
