Description
These unusual flowers are among the oldest flowers on earth dating back some 300 million years. The flowers were originally named after Proteus, the son of Poseidon a sea god who supposedly had the power to know all things. They range in color from red to orange to yellow. Florist will often combine these with lilies, orchids and calendulas for a truly magnificent arrangement.
