I watched these two for a while and they were very comical. The heron just stood there and watched the comorant flapping his wings. It was almost as if the comorant was trying to entice the heron into flapping his wings too.

Amazing photo of one of nature's great moments. The pristine white of the heron against the ebony black of the cormorant is an artist's dream contrast with the gentle ripples in the calm waters as the background. Great capture. I would have loved to have seen this in person, but luckily I get to to share it with you, Deb.
