Artist's Description
The Amur Leopard is nearly extinct in the wild but recent activities have been started to hopefully restore some of the natural habitat and to protect them from poachers and other human encroachments. These stealth cats are native to northern China and some of eastern Russia. They are nomadic, solitary and excellent hunters. This particular Leopard is at the Minnesota Zoo.

About Deb Halloran
I have always had an interest in photography but it wasn’t until a recent birthday present from my husband that I had a camera I really felt comfortable using. Looking through the lens of a camera has changed how I see the world around me. While I think pictures are a great way to share memories, to me they are also a great way to tell a story. My hope is that the viewers of my photos can relate to them and see the uniqueness that I see. I really enjoy macro photography - getting a close up look at the beauty that God has surrounded us with. It amazes me how I notice things while carrying a camera that I never would have seen before. Lighting, shadows and reflections are now seen with an eye for detail instead of a passing...
