Artist's Description
The pink carnation has long been considered the flower to represent a Mothers undying love. In Christian legend the carnation came from the tears Mary cried when Jesus was carrying the cross. Wherever one of Mary's tears fell a pink carnation grew. As a result of this legend pink carnations are given to moms everywhere as a symbol of thanks, love and appreciation.

About Deb Halloran
I have always had an interest in photography but it wasn’t until a recent birthday present from my husband that I had a camera I really felt comfortable using. Looking through the lens of a camera has changed how I see the world around me. While I think pictures are a great way to share memories, to me they are also a great way to tell a story. My hope is that the viewers of my photos can relate to them and see the uniqueness that I see. I really enjoy macro photography - getting a close up look at the beauty that God has surrounded us with. It amazes me how I notice things while carrying a camera that I never would have seen before. Lighting, shadows and reflections are now seen with an eye for detail instead of a passing...
